Why this Book Collaboration is Important
Many of us are tired. And it's because we are doing too much for too many.
Don't misunderstand.... there's NOTHING wrong with serving. In fact, we are called to do it. The problem comes when we adopt the "hero syndrome" which often has women feeling like we always have to "be there" for everyone all the time at the expense of our own well-being. And sometimes we don't even realize we're doing it!
This is what leads to burnout, stress, and neglect of our own health and happiness. I have been this woman most of my life, and I am finding that many of us are coming to the realization that there's another way to live.
We don't have to feel guilty when we say no.
We CAN be there for the people we love AND still be there for ourselves.
Our self-worth is not only derived from being needed and appreciated by others.
We don't have to be the sacrificial offering.
I want us to publish stories to inspire and encourage "super" women to stop setting their capes on fire on the back burner while trying to "be there for" everyone else! Let's take ourselves off the back burner, redefine our inner hero, and eradicate burnout!

• Submit One (1) 1500 - 2000 word chapter

Q1. WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO BURN MY CAPE?
Totally understandable! Some of our Super Friends feel the same way. Instead some wish to hang their cape up, others want to fold it neatly and put it in a draw under lock and key, while others love the look of their cape and want to continue wearing it. What's important to remember here is: This is more about redefining how we show up as heroes and less about what we do with our "cape"... because not all heroes wear capes.
Q2. WHEN IS MY CHAPTER DUE?
It is my goal to be flexible to allow as many as would like to join us to do so. With that in mind, our current chapter submission due date is October 31, 2024. Once enrollment closes, there will be scheduled virtual co-writing sessions to assist you with sticking with this goal. Still have questions? Message Allison.
Q3. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
We desire to launch with a presale campaign by February 1, 2025 pending timely receipt of all submissions from our co-authors.
Q4. WHAT IF I AM UNABLE TO CONTINUE WITH THE PROJECT AFTER I'VE SIGNED UP?
Deposits (payments made) are Non-Refundable BUT are Transferrable to another aspiring Co-Author who has not yet signed up and can make the submission deadlines. Deposits (payments made) can not be used as a credit to other Brand It Beautifully™ Services.
Q5. TELL ME ABOUT THE AUTHOR 1-PAGE WEBSITE. WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE A WEBSITE?
Brand it Beautifully™ will create a custom one-page website (on Wix or Canva) that's entirely yours and ready to evolve with your brand. If you already have a website, we'll seamlessly add and design your co-author page as part of your existing site.
